Never got arrested for the charge but got convicted of a misdemeanor. Good afternoon, in 2011 I applied for the SENTRI but with the family (my father, mother and I), on the day of the interview my mother passed by and they gave her the card, when they interviewed me and my father, they asked us if we knew one person, who is my sister, who has had legal problems but we were unaware of those problems because she did not live with us, she is married, when we told her that she is my sister they denied us the sentri and took my mothers card, they did not let us explain anything . I have used my GE quite number of times after the incident and I had to appear for a secondary inspection each time. (my appeal was declined). It will not affect your record since it is a misdemeanor the officers said. Is there something more this case like other background reasons or something such as your child missing school can affect your trusted traveler card?
